About Zen Wordle

What Is Zen Wordle?

Zen Wordle is ZenPlay's free, unlimited Wordle alternative. Unlike the New York Times version which restricts you to one puzzle per day behind a subscription, Zen Wordle gives you unlimited plays in 4-letter, 5-letter, and 6-letter modes — all free, no login, no paywall.

How It Works

Guess the hidden word in six attempts. After each guess, tiles change colour: green means the right letter in the right place, yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot, and grey means the letter is not in the word at all. Use logic and vocabulary to narrow down the answer.

Why ZenPlay Wordle?

Unlimited plays, three word lengths, and a real city leaderboard. See how your score compares against players in your city and globally.

💡 Tips & Strategy
  • Start with a word that covers common letters: CRANE, SLATE, RAISE, or STARE are strong openers.
  • After guess 1, try to eliminate as many remaining letters as possible rather than guessing the answer.
  • Pay attention to yellow tiles — the letter is in the word, just in the wrong position.
  • If multiple positions remain, use a word that eliminates the most possibilities.
  • For 6-letter mode, focus on common suffixes: -TION, -MENT, -NESS, -LESS, -NESS.
