About Zen Fire Stopper

Zen Fire Stopper is a fire safety game that teaches you which extinguisher to use on different types of fire. Wood fires, electrical fires, oil fires, and chemical fires all require different responses. Using the wrong extinguisher can make the fire dramatically worse — as thousands of kitchen fire accidents prove every year.

💡 Tips & Strategy
  • Water (1) — Wood, paper, cloth fires only. Never on electrical or oil.
  • CO2 (2) — Electrical fires. Smothers without conducting electricity.
  • Foam (3) — Oil and grease fires. Never water on oil — it explodes.
  • Sand/Powder (4) — Chemical and metal fires. Last resort for most others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can you not use water on electrical fires?
Water conducts electricity. Spraying water on an electrical fire causes electrocution risk and can spread the fire through the water stream.
Why does water make oil fires worse?
Water instantly vaporizes when it hits burning oil and causes a violent steam explosion that throws burning oil in all directions — called a boilover.
What is a Class D fire?
Class D fires involve combustible metals like magnesium, titanium, and potassium. They require specialized dry powder extinguishers and cannot be handled with standard extinguishers.
Is this game used in schools?
Yes. Zen Fire Stopper is used by fire safety educators and schools because it makes extinguisher training engaging and memorable.
